Joan Martino Wallis

Mrs. Wallis focuses her practice on mortgage law, loan modifications, real property transactions and business law. She advises clients on a wide spectrum of issues arising in and through the mortgage, loan, credit, debt, and real property, and business matters.

Mrs. Wallis counsels clients in the loan modification process, mortgage law, credit/debt matters and real property transactions such as refinances, sale/purchases, modifications, short sales, deeds in lieu and deficiency judgment matters.  She prepares applications, documents and instruments and negotiates with lenders and other third parties on her clients behalf.  

Mrs. Wallis is a licensed Title Agent and provides real property title agent, closing and escrow services for her individual and business clients.  Her clients can rely on her expertise in negotiating and preparing contracts and finalizing transactions such as Real Property sales, purchases, short sales, and deeds in lieu.  She reviews title abstracts/ reports, provides closing and escrow services and assists in clearing clouds on title.

Mrs. Wallis also practices in the area of business and commercial law providing qualified knowledge guidance on business structuring.  For established businesses, Mrs. Wallis negotiates business sales/purchases and prepares the requisite agreements and contracts. She offers ongoing assistance in the areas of regulatory compliance, insurance, licensing, employment agreements, leases, vendor/customer/service provider agreements and disputes, warranties, advertising, marketing, and e-commerce.
