Joan Martino Wallis’s is a Title Agent, Closing Agent and Escrow Agent with experience in commercial closings, residential closings and short sales.  Her practices includes title law and mortgage law which encompasses assisting clients with property title review; clearing clouds on title; mortgage loan document review and explanation of terms, law, rights, and obligations of mortgagee, mortgagor, servicer, and broker.

Joan assists individuals and entrepreneurs in starting a business, from choosing a name to filing required documents to instituting good business practices.  Joan counsels, prepares documents, and provides assistance to insure new business owners get off on the right foot.  She negotiates and handles the sale and purchase of businesses from due diligence through preparing closing documents and filings to protect her clients interests.  For established businesses, Mrs. Wallis prepares agreements and contracts and offers ongoing assistance in the areas of regulatory compliance, insurance, licensing, employment agreements, leases, vendor/customer/service provider agreements and disputes, warranties, advertising, marketing, and e-commerce.
