Peter E.S. Wallis

Mr. Wallis' is an experienced civil and commercial litigator, business and commercial law counselor, and condominium and homeowner association attorney.  Mr. Wallis utilizes his civil and commercial litigation experience to represent individuals injured in auto accidents and those with personal injury claims arising from the negligence or wrongful conduct of others.  He negotiates settlements with insurance carriers and litigates claims where advisable.  He also represents chiropractors and other health care providers with PIP claims.  As counsel to  individuals, businesses, community associations, and entrepreneurs he acts to enforce and protect client rights and interests; negotiates terms of pre and post litigation settlements; reviews and prepares business documents and agreements, negotiates the terms of business deals, advises on business policies, practices, and procedures, assesses risk management, and counsels on client obligations.  Additionally, whether your matter originated with Wallis & Wallis or not, if you have received an unfavorable ruling Mr. Wallis can represent your interests on appeal.

Before founding Wallis & Wallis, Mr. Wallis was Associate General Counsel for a U.S. public company providing international online publishing and financial services. As a General Counsel he gained broad experience in business law. He managed the legal interests and advised on operations of eleven European and North American offices including: business organization and structuring; contract and agreement negotiations and drafting; software licensing; international regulatory compliance and filing requirements; and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Wallis oversaw trademark, service mark, copyright protection, and unfair business practices matters.

Prior to his experience as a General Counsel, Mr. Wallis' practiced in the area of foreclosure law, general and commercial litigation, condominium and homeowner association law, and personal injury matters.

Mr. Wallis is licensed to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Wallis received his Associates in Applied Science degree in Musical Instrument Technology from Five Towns College, his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury (Honors in Academic Excellence), and his Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. Mr. Wallis served on the New York Law School Moot Court Association Executive Board, as Chairman of its intramural moot court competition, and was also Managing Editor of the Media Law and Policy Journal. Mr. Wallis earned the honor of National Member of The Order of Barristers.
